Stay Connected to God

When times are hard, easy, a mess, etc, stay with God - no matter what.

Times were hard for Naomi, Ruth, & Orpah.

Orpah gave in and went with what was easy - go back home.

Ruth decided to stick with God and didn’t take the easy road.

Ruth 1:16 - But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

No matter our circumstances, we need to stay connected to God. Honor our relationship with God in the hard times, in the darkest valley, and even in the times where everything is going right.

🩷 Those are all times to praise and worship God.

🩷 Those are all times to be grateful.

🩷 Those are all times to pray.

God wants to be there through it all - the highs and the lows.

I forget that at times. 

It seems easier to go to God in prayer when I’m wanting something from God or when I’m having a hard day. 

But God also wants to celebrate with us and continue the relationship even in the times when everything seems to be going right.

I’m learning every day throughout the day to stay connected to God.

Take some time throughout your day to connect!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you are always with us and always listening. I’m so grateful that I can freely come to you in prayer at any time throughout my day no matter the circumstances. Help me to remember that I can share the life & business celebrations with you as well as asking for direction and help in the hard times. I look forward to being connected to you throughout each and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
